This week we took some of the most hyped-up purchases & asked our community - are they worth the hype?? Or would the money be best spent somewhere else?
BTW wanna know the TLDR;? Literally every single item was voted as NOT worth the hype. Take this as your sign to put some money aside in your savings instead :) Bet no one would ever vote that having emergency savings is not worth the hype 😜
We knew the majority would vote no, but we underestimated how many of y'all love attention 👀 21% voted that bottle service is worth the hype!
Only 18% voted worth the hype!! Less than ordering bottle service??? Honestly - that's very surprising. Wonder how many of you actually spend your own hard-earned cash on bottle service though...
19% voted yes! That's totally understandable since Greek life dues sometimes can end up costing more than the price of your dorm.
So, even though this blog post was shorter than usual, we have one important lesson to pass onto you. Almost nothing is worth the hype, when it comes to overpriced purchases, so learn to control them so you're not left filled with regret. And, in the meantime, with all the money we've saved you, consider opening a savings account.
